.Sg. Sendat trip

hello everyone,

.

yesterday i went for a trip to a waterfall, Sg. Sendat Waterfall with some of my friends from work [read: Pretty People Limited]. it’s located somewhere in Selangor, atas sikit dari Ulu Yam, i think. i don’t want to go at first since for this to happen, i need to wake up really early in the morning on weekend (duhh..), but i figured that it would be a very great opportunity in getting to know each other and to build up bonds with them (i became close to this group after the team building the other day), so i agreed to join, which was a correct thing to do. HAHA. aaand please enjoy some of the pics of yesterday! :)

.

hairi, faiz, wida (nampak kepala jer), nana and hani. (the other 2 tu strangers)

from right: farah, rusman, abang debab and rusman’s fiancé- alin.

hani was trying to comfort nana (pacat gigit ditempat yang agak rare untuk digigit “><)

ok this is the view, some of these visitors even make the waterfall as sliding. some even stuck in the middle, heading down head first. which was a scary thing to see. aiyaa.

there were anak ikan inside that cup. the achievement of the day lah kononnya.

.

we leaved Sg. Sendat around 2++pm. we stopped at Ulu Yam to pray (but the surau was filled with tahi kambeng, sedeh sungguh “T___T). later we went for karaoke session from 5-7pm. paiz and i performed our pray in the karaoke premise! sebab it was late and we don’t know where’s the surau. padahal sebelah tu hospital, bley je lari ke sana untuk tumpang surau (we did, for Maghrib).

.

later, we went for dinner at Sri Gombak. i can’t recall the name of the restaurant, because i was really tired, my leg ached, and the food was only so-so, so i don’t even bother to look at the name. we went back to the office (where i parked my car) at 11:30pm. i reached home feeling very exhausted and with zero energy meter. i hit the shower, pray, recite two pages of Quran and went straight to bed. but it was a very awesome trip, i would say. at least now i know that i have these people in my circle, and i know i am accepted in their circle too. that’s the important thing :)

.

i hope there will be more trips to come in the future. to socialize and having a good time is something that i really needed on weekends (especially when this weekend aku yang standby, boring kot hujung minggu kena kerja..). oh thanks to wida (the driver) and paiz (the car owner) for the transportation, thanks to Abang Debab for the delish fried meehun, and Rusman and fiancé for the ayam, and everyone lah for the exciting experience. it was a great trip, let’s do it again.

.great work, exceptional work

taking random quote from the internet:

.

Great work is not recognized by managers, exceptional work is. Great work is expected from you anyway.

.

or i can just liaise directly with the people above the manager level. HAA!! it’s much easier and faster way to get recognized. however people might see it as buttkissing. LOL. anyhow, why bother worrying about being recognized? if you do something exceptional and maintain the exact same quality consistently, you’ll definitely being recognized.

.

i, too, have the very same feeling that i am not being recognized although i’ve done almost most of the critical parts of my job scope (aku rasa lah). and i think they have their eyes on the wrong people, the loud one. oh well, but come to think to it, memang lah yang loud will be recognized first. so i have nothing to worry about, i’ll just continue doing what i’m doing and let’s see how it’ll turn out. insyaAllah, ada rezeki orang nampak lah kan? hekhek

.

worrying about being recognized will only takes your (mine as well) focus away and by the end of the day, you’ll only do, well, great job. so let’s focus on being exceptional! good luck everyone! :)
